
Ryan K. Louie, MD, PhD, is a board-certified Psychiatrist with the Washington Permanente Medical Group, providing treatment and care for adult patients with psychiatric illness. In addition to clinical care, Ryan has a research focus on the mental health impact of cybersecurity with a specialty in psybersecurity and the defense against threats on the mental health attack surface. Ryan received his MD and PhD degrees in the NIH-funded Medical Scientist Training Program from the Stanford University School of Medicine, and completed residency training in psychiatry at the University of Hawaii Department of Psychiatry. Ryan completed an internship with the Office of International Health and Biodefense at the U.S. Department of State, and was the recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship to Japan. Ryan has published academic articles in psychiatry and cell biology, served as invited speaker at cybersecurity conferences, and is the inventor of the patented microtubule lumen-cast nanowire technology.
